Rosie Murray SBCI

 

Rosie is among a tiny handful of the world’s specialist in the human aspect of disaster response. She was Project Co-ordinator both for the ‘9/11’ and Tsunami help-lines and the face-to face support co-ordinated by the UK Government. She was involved in supporting relatives through the identification procedure following the Kegworth air crash.

 

She chairs the UK Emergency Planning Society's Human Aspects Group and has contributed to a number of the national working parties and reports. She is in great demand as a trainer for the police, government and commercial organisations. She also has her own hands-on practice, bringing help to those in trauma. This is a long way from her beginnings as a mental health social worker, brought in to work with the Emergency Team of a city council.

Catherine Petersen Msc,Bsc (Hons) Psychology, MBCI,FRSA.

Catherine has studied and practiced elements of organisational psychology throughout the 16 years of her emergency planning and business continuity career.

 

Expert in the human components of business continuity she is a consultant, coach, trainer and mentor. Catherine has enjoyed success as a business continuity specialist in both the public and private sectors. She recently lead a complex three-year Business Continuity programme for a major bank's central London relocation.

 

Experienced in many aspects of performance development and recruitment & selection she has presented nationally and has been published in various professional journals. Catherine is a member of the Business Continuity Institute, a Graduate Member of the Institute of Personnel Training and Development and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
