Chris Blades MBCI

 

Chris has been actively involved in Business Continuity Planning for over 15 years, in the U.K. and overseas with clients in petrochemicals, chemicals, finance, local authorities, food manufacturing, general engineering, air freight, logistics and warehousing, and power generation. With a background as a trained and accredited safety and environmental auditor and in supply chain management, he has a perspective on business continuity issues that extends beyond the technical and IT parameters. He has wide experience of identifying and evaluating and then establishing risk controls as part of risk management programmes. He has regularly undertaken Business Impact Assessments as part of the work he undertakes with clients. He leads the Business Continuity Institute recognised training courses for LINK. He has worked in a variety of business structures ranging from business with direct line management structures to multinational corporate organisations (where he had functional responsibility for international activities). He has also served on representational bodies and committees for industries that he has worked within.

Andy Ralph MBCI

 

Andrew joined LINK Associates in 2001 and has worked at all levels of business in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, telecoms & IT, leisure, banking & retail and numerous government agencies. He has been jointly responsible for the development and delivery of Business Continuity training courses using BSI PAS56:2003 methodology, recognised by the Business Continuity Institute, Survive and the Emergency Planning Society. Prior to joining LINK Associates, Andrew spent 10 years in the Royal Navy, where he gained considerable command centre experience in numerous seagoing operational roles.
